Sometimes, you just get sent something truly wonderful. Or lots of things, actually. Last year, I was a dealer in Vegas, and I helped to bail my best friend out of trouble. Poor Alex! During the time of his hardship, I thankfully met Bell, for the very first time. With all the money Alex won from the deal...he let us have a fun holiday together, in sunny Jamaica, before telling us about his awesome plans in Vegas! We´ve gotten to know each other really well. Intimately, I guess you could say. So, wow...now, I´ve got the hottest girl of my dreams, and I´m about to start a wicked club in Vegas. And we are even moving in...together! But there are a few weird things planned for us along the way, it seems. Shopping...a swinger´s club...and something else that´s definitely gonna freak me out! I met my gorgeous girl on a Saturday. Bell is gonna have to be my hero. ´´Love ya Bell...darling!´´ 1. Language: English. Narrator: Shea Hart. Audio sample: http://samples.audible.de/bk/acx0/107019/bk_acx0_107019_sample.mp3. We don´t think of imagination the way that we should. The word is often only associated with children, artists and daydreamers, viewed as something separate from everyday adult life. However, imagination is an integral part of almost every action and decision that we make. Simply put, imagination is a person´s ability to create scenarios in his or her head: this can include everything from planning a shopping list, to honing a golf swing, and even to having religious hallucinations. And while imagination has positive connotations, it can also lead to more pernicious outcomes including decreased productivity and cooperation, and much worse, the continuous reliving of past trauma. The human brain is remarkable in its ability to imagine-to create worlds and situations outside of its reality. We can imagine complex possible futures, fantasy worlds and jars of peanut butter. We can use our imaginations to make us relaxed or anxious, and the most impressive feat of human imagination may be our ability to use it in creative endeavours. Sitting in a chair, with our eyes closed, we can imagine what the world might be and construct elaborate plans. With such power, we have an obligation to use it for good-to make things better for ourselves and for the world. People have been fascinated with the machination of the human brain and its ability to imagine for centuries, but until now, there have been no popular science books that are dedicated to imagination. There are books on creativity, dreams, memory, and the mind in general, but how exactly do we create those scenes in our head? With chapters ranging from hallucination and imaginary friends to how imagination can make you happier and more productive, Jim Davies´ Imagination will help us explore the full potential of our own mind.

Growing up in boring and cold Minnesota, I always knew I was a submissive. Whenever the neighborhood boys and I would play cowboys and Indians, I always wanted to be the Indian, who always happened to be tied up to a tree. For some reason, even at that early age, I knew I liked boys and I knew that I liked to be tied up by them. When I became an adult, nothing changed with me preference wise, if anything, I became more attracted to men than ever before and I became even more so a submissive than I had ever thought would be possible.I moved to California, to a little community in San Diego called Hillcrest. Hillcrest was just a few minutes from Downtown San Diego and the best part of it was that it was an entire gay community. There were nightclubs, bars, stores for shopping, restaurants and most of all - men. Lots of gay men to dominate me.I work at a hair salon as a hair stylist. Most of my clients are gay men and I love servicing them in the salon chair. I´m not the full blown flamboyant gay man, like most men who are gay hairstylists are, but if you met me, you would definitely know I swing for the same team. 1. Language: English. A razor-sharp story collection from a writer who is always ´furiously good´ (Zadie Smith, best-selling author of Swing Time). With her signature humor and compassion, A. M. Homes exposes the heart of an uneasy America in her new collection - exploring our attachments to each other through characters who aren´t quite who they hoped to become, though there is no one else they can be.In ´A Prize for Every Player´, a man is nominated to run for president by the customers of a big box store while he and his family do their weekly shopping. At a conference on genocide(s) in the title story, old friends rediscover themselves and one another - finding spiritual and physical comfort in ancient traditions. And in ´Hello Everybody´ and ´She Got Away´, Homes revisits a Los Angeles family obsessed with the surfaces and frightened of what lives below. In the nearly three decades since her seminal debut collection The Safety of Objects, Homes has been celebrated by readers, listeners and critics alike as one of our boldest and most original writers, acclaimed for her psychological accuracy and ´satire so close to the truth it´s terrifying´ (Ali Smith). Her first book since the Women´s Prize-winning May We Be Forgiven, Days of Awe is a major new addition to her body of visionary, fearless, outrageously funny work.´Brother on Sunday´, ´Days of Awe´, ´All Is Good Except for the Rain´, ´The National Cage Bird Show´, ´Your Mother Was a Fish´, ´The Last Good Time´, ´Be Mine´, ´A Prize for Every Player´, ´Omega Point´ and ´She Got Away´: Recording Copyright 2018 Penguin Random House LLC.´Hello Everybody´ and ´Whose Story Is It´ and ´Why Is It Always on Her Mind´: Recording Copyright 2013 W.F.
